what we believe
We believe that God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co equal and are one God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, perfect man and very God, united in one person, who actually was crucified, died, and buried to reconcile lost humanity to God and make atonement for all sins, who arose from the dead, and ascended to heaven, from whence He shall com to judge all man in the last days (Matt. 1: 18-25).
We believe that heaven is a place prepared by God for the believers. (John 14: 1-3).
We believe that hell is a place of punishment for those who reject God and salvation. (Psalm 9: 17; Luke 16: 19-31).
We believe that regeneration is an experience by which one is born again (John 3: 1-7). In order to be regenerated, or saved, one must repent of his/her sins by turning from them and accepting Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.
We believe that sanctification is a definite and progressive work commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing on until the consummation of salvation and involves a definite commitment of the believer (Heb. 13: 12; 1 Thess. 5: 23; Romans 12: 1). The scripture declares that without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Heb. 12: 14).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2: 4).
We believe in divine healing. (Mark 16: 18, James 5:14).
We believe in the Bible as God's inspired and infallible word of truth consisting of the Old and New Testaments (2 Timothy 3: 16).
We believe in celebrating the ordinances of the of the Lord's Supper and water baptism.
